Based out of the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA), the City Climate Alliance is seeking a research & design intern with a background in urban design or urban planning. As the project is young, there is a lot of opportunity to collaborate, learn and ideate, as well as interact with many alliance partners.
1. Provide research support for knowledge products, India Climate Dialogues, and topics under climate action, gender, nature-based solutions, mobility, and placemaking
2. Work on design thinking for publications and other modes of presentation
3. Ideate on new projects in the pipeline
4. Ensure coordination and collaboration with internal and external partners
5. Design collaterals for partnering events
6. Create databases and repositories for the alliance
Skills & Requirements:
1. Preferred experience - 0-3 years
2. Qualification - preferably urban design or any other design education equipped with technical knowledge of climate action and urban development
3. Software knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, Microsoft Office, and Rhino is required
4. Strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
5. Interested in research and publications under the urban, climate, and gender lens
