Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:
1. are available for full time (in-office) internship
2. can start the internship between 31st Jan'25 and 7th Mar'25
3. are available for duration of 5 months
4. have relevant skills and interests
1. Aeronautical engineering final semester students from 2025 passing out batch (preferred)
2. You must be willing to spend at least 5 months here (by the end of this period, you will be in a very good position to get placed in the UAV field with the experience gained)
3. Students from previous batches without a job can also apply
4. Though knowledge of CAD, 3D printing, and aircraft design is desirable but is not essential (we understand that you are a student and may have limited practical exposure)
5. An attitude to learning is essential (you will be taught the basics of what is required and as a budding engineer, you will be expected to dive deeper, learn more, and find solutions)
6. At present, we are not accepting applications from women as we cannot arrange a stay for them
7. Discipline is an absolute must and there will be no compromise on this aspect (any violation in this aspect will lead to the termination of your internship)
8. You must be able to join by 28 February 25
1. UAVs or drones are a rapidly developing field with immense possibilities
2. The aeronautical students from most private colleges lack the desired practical experience (the limited job market in India compared to students passing out means the students with experience have an edge over the rest in getting a job in a core field)
3. This internship will give you hands-on experience that will help you get a job in the UAV field
4. I am well-connected in the UAV industry and I know many of the founders/owners of startups/companies in this field those who perform well will be recommended and my recommendation has weight (the students from the previous batch have been placed well)
5. Your place of residence and place of work will be 5 Kms apart and you will be given a cycle to come in the morning and go back in the evening after work (don't worry no student has died to date cycling 10 km a day as your body needs some exercise too)
6. The project location is at an IAF Airbase and you will be working under an IAF officer with over 18 years of experience in manned and unmanned aviation
7. You will be provided with a place to stay and hygienic meals
8. You will also be groomed on personality development
