Media Relations Specialist Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Research & data collection: Identify and gather data on journalists from various publications, including their contact details (emails, social media profiles, etc.). Maintain a comprehensive database of media professionals, keeping it up to date.
2. Outreach & relationship building: Initiate and manage communications with journalists via email and social media channels. Customize outreach strategies based on the journalist's preferences and publication guidelines.
3. Collaboration & coordination: Work closely with internal teams (PR, marketing) to align outreach efforts with company goals. Coordinate follow-ups and manage ongoing relationships with media contacts.
4. Tracking & reporting: Track outreach progress, responses, and success rates.
5. Report key insights to the team to refine outreach strategies.
6. Content development: Assist in drafting compelling outreach messages, pitches, and follow-up content tailored to individual journalists.
