We are seeking a Robotics Developer and Mentor who is deeply passionate about both technology and education. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in developing embedded systems using microcontrollers like Arduino, along with proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and experience with embedded Linux.
A strong grasp of electronics, and circuits, and the ability to interface with various sensors are essential. Beyond technical expertise, we are looking for someone who can effectively teach and mentor high school and college students in robotics and embedded systems during evening hours. The role also involves collaborating with students on robotics and IoT projects for which they will receive additional compensation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key, as the candidate will be guiding students through the entire process, from conceptualization to prototyping, while working on cutting-edge projects.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop new embedded systems and IoT products for the company
2. Optimize and troubleshoot existing embedded systems
3. Interface with hardware teams to integrate electronics and sensors
4. Teach and mentor students in robotics and embedded systems during evening hours
5. Develop robotics and IoT projects with students for additional compensation
6. Guide students through the entire process from ideation to prototyping
