2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, store and clinic visits, cold calling, networking, and relationship building with potential clients such as pet stores, veterinary clinics, grooming salons, and other relevant outlets
3. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs, providing product knowledge, and offering exceptional customer service and support
4. Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, highlighting the features, benefits, and unique selling points of BearHugs pet care products
5. Collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product launches effectively
6. Monitor competitor activity within the territory and provide feedback to the management team regarding market trends, pricing, and competitive positioning.
7. Achieve and exceed sales targets, quotas, and KPIs set by the company, consistently striving for growth and success
8. Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and analyses regularly, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
9. Represent BearHugs at trade shows, industry events, and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads
10. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless order fulfillment and client satisfaction
11. Uphold company values, policies, and standards while conducting all sales activities, maintaining professionalism and integrity at all times
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field preferred
2. Proven experience in sales (minimum of 2 years), preferably within the pet care industry or related field
3. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
5. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the designated territory
6. Passion for pets and a genuine interest in promoting their health and well-being through quality products
