About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Java development: Develop and maintain software using Java and OOP principles.
2. Testing & Automation: Create and run automated tests with Selenium, JUnit, and TestNG; perform load testing.
3. Web services: Develop and test RESTful and SOAP web services.
4. Mobile testing: (Desired) Contribute to mobile automation or testing.
5. Database knowledge: Use basic SQL for data validation.
6. Defect tracking: Manage defects and test cases with relevant tools.
7. Build/Deployment automation: Support build, deployment, and continuous integration processes.
8. Source code management: Handle source code repositories, branching, and merging.
9. Software lifecycle: Understand the software development and testing lifecycle.
10. Communication: Demonstrate strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 4 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. 4 - 8 Years of hands-on experience in Java with a strong knowledge of OOPs.

2. Adequate working knowledge of JUnit and TestNG.

3. Extensive experience in developing web service clients and providers for RESTful or SOAP implementation.

4. Automation using selenium and all associated tools like cucumber etc., and load testing.

5. Desired experience in Mobile Automation or exposure to Mobile testing.

6. Basic knowledge of SQL or any DB.

7. Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools is desirable.

8. Strong knowledge of build/ deployment automation and continuous integration is highly desirable.

9. Advanced understanding of source code repositories and branching and merging strategies.

10. Awareness of Software Development and Testing lifecycle.

11. Education qualification: B.Tech/ M.Tech/ MCA/BS/ MS in Computer Science.

12. Skills: Java, Testing, Mobile Testing, Load Testing, and J Unit.

13. Strong communication and problem-solving skills desired.

14. Well-versed with Internet technologies and infrastructure.

15. Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

16. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Annual CTC: ₹ 5,00,000 - 6,00,000 /year
