Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Lead Wedding Photographer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, exceptional technical skills, and a creative approach to capturing one of the most important days in our clients' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capture high-quality images during weddings, including pre-ceremony preparations, the ceremony, and the reception.
2. Edit and retouch photos using professional software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop).
3. Work closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure their expectations are met.
4. Manage time efficiently during wedding events to ensure all important moments are captured.
5. Deliver edited photos and albums in a timely manner.
6. Maintain and manage professional photography equipment, including backup gear.
7. Communicate effectively with wedding planners, coordinators, and other vendors.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a lead wedding photographer or a strong portfolio showcasing wedding photography.
2. Proficiency in camera settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO) and professional photo editing software.
3. Creativity and a keen eye for detail to capture unique and memorable moments.
4. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with clients, guests, and other vendors.
5. Ability to adapt to different wedding themes and styles.
6. Punctuality, reliability, and professionalism.
7. Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and effectively.
8. Valid business license and liability insurance.
9. Knowledge of creating contracts and pricing services competitively.
10. Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience as a second shooter.
2. Positive reviews and testimonials from previous clients.
3. Membership in professional photography associations (e.g., WPPI).
4. Completion of specialized training or certifications in wedding photography.
5. Established connections with other wedding vendors (planners, florists, venues).
