Key responsibilities:
1. Design and develop new web applications while optimizing existing ones
2. Utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create user interfaces
3. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to develop visually appealing web applications
4. Troubleshoot and debug applications
5. Ensure code is up to current standards and test for cross-browser compatibility
6. Stay up-to-date with web technologies and keep the team informed of new developments
7. Monitor performance and provide maintenance wherever needed
