In this role, you will be responsible for the meticulous editing and crafting of video projects, ensuring they align seamlessly with the overall vision and goals set by the organization.
As a Video Editor, you will collaborate closely with various teams, playing a key role in transforming raw footage into compelling and polished visual stories. Your expertise will not only involve shaping the visual elements but also contributing to the overall narrative and creative strategy. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing the quality and impact of our video content.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Editing: Edit video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, promotional materials, and ads. Cut, trim, and assemble footage to create seamless and visually appealing videos.
2. Storytelling: Collaborate with directors and content creators to understand the narrative and storytelling goals of each project. Craft compelling and engaging visual stories through effective editing techniques.
3. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in video editing software e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve to enhance and refine video content. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in video editing technology.
4. Color Grading: Enhance video footage through color correction and grading to achieve the desired visual tone and mood.
5. Sound Editing: Edit and mix audio elements, including dialogue, music, and sound effects, to ensure high-quality and synchronized audio-visual content.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with the production team, including cinematographers, scriptwriters, and directors, to achieve the intended creative vision. Incorporate feedback and revisions to meet project requirements.
7. Efficiency and Deadline Management: Edit efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising on the quality of the final product. Manage and organize project files for smooth collaboration and future reference.
8. Feedback and Iteration: Accept and implement constructive feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine video edits. Iterate on video drafts until the desired outcome is achieved.
9. File Management: Organize and maintain an efficient file management system for video assets, ensuring accessibility and version control.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
1. 2+ years of proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects.
2. Proficiency in video editing software Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve.
3. Solid understanding of video production processes, including color grading and sound editing.
4. Creative thinking and a keen eye for visual storytelling.
5. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
7. Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and feedback.
8. Need to be outcome-oriented and produce deliverables satisfying the objective given.
