The vendor management and quality control coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact between our company and our vendors in India. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, result-driven, and a keen understanding of supply chain management within the textile industry.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on vendor communication:
i. Act as the main point of contact for our vendors in India.
ii. Foster strong relationships with existing vendors and engage with potential new suppliers to expand our network.
2. Work on quality control:
i. Conduct regular quality checks of raw materials and finished products to ensure they meet our company standards.
ii. Provide constructive feedback to vendors regarding production quality and any required improvements.
3. Work on production monitoring:
i. Oversee the production process by coordinating with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
ii. Follow up on production timelines and address any delays or issues that may arise.
4. Handle stock management:
i. Monitor stock levels of materials and finished products, providing insights to the team for inventory management.
ii. Collaborate with vendors to reorder materials as necessary to maintain production flow.
5. Work on vendor recruitment:
i. Research and identify potential new vendors and suppliers that align with our sustainability values and quality standards.
ii. Assist in the onboarding process of new vendors to ensure they understand our requirements and expectations.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Delhi, Jaipur and neighboring cities
1. Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, fashion design, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in vendor management, quality control, or production coordination within the textile or fashion industry.
3. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships across cultures.
4. Detail orientation with strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
5. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
6. Proficiency in using project management tools and basic software for inventory management (e.g., MS Excel, Google Workspace).
