Job Description
Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of Windows, Linux, Solaris based Servers, Systems, Operational Tools, and VMS.
Proficient with Patching and upgrade of Windows, Linux, Solaris Servers, Systems and its softwares.
Manage virtual servers and integrate automation processes.
Troubleshoot hardware or software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
Experience on Backup and Recovery tools are added advantage.
Experience working with ITIL Process
Requirements
3 - 4 Years of Proven experience as a System Administrator,
Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Experience working with ITIL Process
Ability to create batch or shell scripts
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
