1. Academic degree (M.Tech/Ph.D) in a relevant discipline like Biomedical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent
2. Experience in the design and development of biosensors for applications in rapid diagnostics and electrochemical point-of-care devices
3. Solid hands-on experience in sensor/immuno sensor-based diagnostic development, microfluidic techniques, technologies related to antibody immobilization, its surface conjugation, and subsequent analysis using various analytical tools (potentiometry, voltammetry, amperometry, impedance spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, etc.)
4. Peer-reviewed publications in the areas of biosensor-based diagnostics and/or surveillance technologies for diseases would be preferred
5. Experience in medical device development and manufacturing, and an understanding of regulatory and quality management systems like ISO 13485, and ISO 14971 would be preferred
6. Good communication skills in English and strong interpersonal/networking skills
