Senior Executive - Demand Planning Job

Key responsibilities:

A. Demand Planning:
1. Run weekly demand planning sessions and monitor forecast accuracy
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (growth/category) to understand demand forecast drivers
3. Optimize the demand plan in alignment with customer and product category strategies
4. Incorporate causal factors (such as weather, natural disasters, and competitor actions) and model events (like sales promotions and marketing events) into demand forecasts
5. Develop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for various time horizons across multiple regions
6. Release final demand plans by integrating all inputs according to agreed timelines

B. Supply Planning:
1. Manage the entire replenishment process
2. Ensure timely release of purchase orders (POs) to all vendors across all cities
3. Manage buying quantities to ensure optimal order sizes, considering inventory norms, stock on hand, forecasts, and vendor constraints
4. Collaborate with the category team to maintain high levels of supply reliability (OTIF)

C. Inventory Management:
1. Manage inventory health, focusing on availability and aging
2. Define and manage inventory norms at a regional and SKU level
3. Maintain desired inventory levels across all regions
4. Monitor and plan for the liquidation of SKUs at risk of wastage
5. Collaborate with city teams and operations to ensure accuracy of stock levels

D. Stakeholders:
1. Engage with stakeholders from growth, category, operations, and procurement
