Front End Developer Job (Remote)

Key responsibilities:

1. Develop and own our data product frontends used by top leadership
2. Prototype ideas and solutions
3. Work with product managers and designers to ideate and deliver exceptional UX
4. Strengthen our projects quality through sound design and testing and optimize performance
5. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate with the tech lead and product managers
6. Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers)
7. Stay up-to-date with new web tools and methodologies
8. Manage a team of interns

Skills & Requirements:

1. Proven work experience (1-2 years experience) in frontend development on high-stake products - ideally using React, Redux, Next.js, or similar frameworks
2. Proven work experience with complex APIs
3. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
4. Knowledge of software methodologies, tools, and processes - CICD pipelines, and product QA phases
5. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
6. Excellent interpersonal, consultative, and communication skills
7. Self-managed, proactive work style
8. Able to work independently within a team-centric environment
9. Experience conducting end-to-end testing plans - self-test tooling, SIT, UAT, regression testing, etc. (preferred)
10. Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - find unknown unknowns before our users
11. Experience in data visualization (preferred)
12. Experience in web and API performance (preferred)
13. Experience in web security (authentication, watermarks) (preferred)
14. Strong communication skills
