Key responsibilities:

1. Generate PO for the materials required
2. Coordinate with suppliers for better pricing and dispatch schedule
3. Coordinate with the logistics department to ensure smooth transit of material and pending order follow-up
4. Ensure the correctness of received purchase and transport documents
5. Verify the price of the material purchased with its quotation and business terms
6. Identify non-moving materials based on the stock turnover ratio and report it to management
7. Search for new allied products and suppliers and establish new product lines in to the business
8. Coordinate with the accounts department for the payment and documentation of the purchase
9. Pass transport bill with consideration of transit shortage and debit note proceedings
10. Reconcile the transporter's account with our transport bill periodically
11. Reconcile purchase accounts with suppliers by sending periodical purchase statements
