About the job

We are seeking dynamic and passionate facility management interns specializing in racket sports to join our sports facility in Padel India, Gachibowli, at PGBA, Hyderabad. This internship will provide hands-on experience managing on-ground sports facilities, ensuring top-notch customer service, and maintaining high standards for athletes and enthusiasts. You will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our facility, primarily focusing on racket sports such as tennis, badminton, squash, and table tennis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Facility operations:
i. Assist in the daily management and maintenance of racket sports courts (padel, tennis, badminton)
ii. Ensure equipment (rackets, shuttlecocks, balls, nets, etc.) is available and in optimal condition.
iii. Coordinate with maintenance teams for regular cleaning, repairs, and upkeep of courts.
iv. Assist in setting up the facility for events, tournaments, and coaching sessions.
v. Someone with experience of sports & fitness companies like cult etc

2. Customer service:
i. Greet and assist players, coaches, and visitors, ensuring a smooth and positive experience.
ii. Handle queries related to racket sports programs, court bookings, and memberships.
iii. Gather feedback from customers to improve the facility experience continuously.

3. Event & program support:
i. Help coordinate on-ground events such as tournaments, coaching sessions, and workshops.
ii. Manage event logistics such as player registration, scheduling, and ensuring court availability.
iii. Assist in executing promotional activities for events and programs.

4. Inventory management:
i. Track inventory of sports equipment and accessories.
ii. Coordinate with suppliers for replenishment and maintain inventory logs.

5. Safety & compliance:
i. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations for players and staff.
ii. Conduct regular safety checks and report any issues to management.

Skills & qualifications:

1. Education: Pursuing or completing a degree in sports management, facility management, or related fields.

2. Interest: Passion for racket sports (tennis, badminton, squash, or table tennis).

3. Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

4. Physical activity: Ability to handle physical tasks related to facility management.

5. Problem-solving: Ability to think on your feet and solve on-ground challenges efficiently.

6. Attention to detail: Ensuring high standards of service and facility upkeep.

7. Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, staff, and customers.

Preferred skills:

1. Knowledge of racket sports rules and regulations.

2. Experience playing or coaching racket sports is a plus.

3. Prior experience in sports facility management or event coordination.

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 5,00,000 - 8,00,000 /year
