We are seeking a highly skilled Moodle LMS implementation specialist to join our team. As the Moodle LMS implementation specialist, you will be responsible for managing the implementation of Moodle 4.0+ within our organization. You should have a strong background in Moodle development, including experience with plugin and theme development, integration of third-party API systems (such as SIS Banner, Salesforce, etc.), and building responsive layouts.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage the implementation of Moodle 4.0+ within our organization, ensuring a smooth and efficient deployment process
2. Develop custom plugins and themes for Moodle based on organizational requirements
3. Integrate third-party API systems (e.g., SIS Banner, Salesforce) with Moodle to enhance functionality and data management
4. Build responsive layouts and ensure compatibility across various devices and screen sizes
5. Write comprehensive test cases to ensure the quality and reliability of Moodle implementations
6. Collaborate with internal teams to gather requirements, assess needs, and provide technical expertise and support
7. Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in Moodle LMS and related technologies
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
2. Proven experience (5 years) in implementing Moodle LMS, with a strong focus on Moodle 4.0+
3. Demonstrated expertise in Moodle plugin and theme development
4. Experience integrating third-party API systems (e.g., SIS Banner, Salesforce) with Moodle
5. Proficiency in building responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks
6. Ability to write and execute test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of Moodle implementations
7. Familiarity with GCP cloud services is a plus (not mandatory)
8. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
9. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
10. Optionally, have a good understanding of GCP cloud services to facilitate cloud-based deployments (this is a plus)
