The candidate should have knowledge of freight pricing, documentation and operations. The candidate should have knowledge about freight forwarding agents worldwide. He should be well aware of different freight forwarding networks. The candidate should have a good rapport and contact with the shipping line. Also, the candidate should have knowledge about other prominent freight forwarders working in India. The candidate should be very focused with good
communication skills in the English language.
Key responsibilities:
1. Work on competitive pricing in freight charges
2. Manage bill of lading documentation
3. Track containers and monitor operation
4. Handle end-to-end client accounts
5. Manage operations and find new business opportunities
6. Handle new enquires from existing accounts
7. Manage commercials and pricing
8. Manage P&L of accounts
