This is a full-time role for a travel advisor with experience in sales, at Experience Destination. You will be responsible for increasing revenues through sales, assisting clients in planning and organizing their travel arrangements, and building systems to ensure exceptional customer service and customer satisfaction. The role will be based in Guwahati, with the flexibility for some remote work.
Key responsibilities:
1. Be in touch with the leads and suggest experiences based on the guest's preferences and coordinate with stakeholders to make tour itineraries with costing.
2. Work on follow-ups and re-edits of itinerary as and when required.
3. Work on relationship building with local vendors like homestay owners, hotel managers, cab drivers, guides, etc.
4. Build systems to automate lead generation to booking processes.
5. Increase revenue for the firm.
6. Build a destination encyclopedia.
1. Some years of experience working in the tourism industry would be preferred.
2. Should be extremely comfortable working in Microsoft Excel, Canva, and Maps and have good presentation and communication skills.
3. Excellent English or Hindi speaking skills.
4. Knowledge of local attractions and destinations in North-East India will be a bonus.
5. Some experience in sales, preferably within the travel or hospitality industry.
6. Proficiency in local languages is a plus.
7. A bachelor's degree in hospitality, tourism, or a related field will be preferred.
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,000 - 3,60,000 /year
