We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic travel sales consultant with 0-2 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in travel tourism management and some experience with group inclusive tours (GITs) or group travel arrangements. In this role, you will sell travel packages, create itineraries, and provide exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities:
1. Understand clients' travel preferences and recommend suitable travel packages, including group and Git arrangements.
2. Develop detailed, customized travel itineraries, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities.
3. Work on achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales techniques and proactive client engagement.
4. Perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
5. Stay up-to-date with travel trends and emerging destinations to offer fresh and exciting options to clients.
6. Travel frequently to gain firsthand knowledge of destinations and strengthen supplier relationships.
7. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, hotels, airlines, and destination management companies (DM CS) to secure the best deals for clients.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in travel tourism management or a related field.
2. 0-2 years of experience in the travel industry, with some exposure to GITs or group travel.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
5. Target-driven and able to perform well under pressure.
6. Passion for travel and creating memorable experiences for clients.
7. Basic proficiency in travel booking systems and software.
