Junior Mechanical Engineer Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Facilitate problem-solving, as may arise, between MEP Subcontractors
2. Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions.
3. Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
4. Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
5. Assist in the scoping review, budgeting, and justification of MEP change WO
6. Assist in the installation of MEP work.
7. Direct, monitor, and control the activities of the MEP Subcontractor.
8. Coordinating MEP-related materials, systems, and shop drawings.
9. Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
10. Coordination and supervision of installation of the mechanical and plumbing services of projects
11. Assist the project team and logistics division in the procurement of mechanical machinery and equipment
12. Assist contract division in preparing and evaluating tender documents of mechanical/plumbing engineering services (specifications, BOQs, rates, test reports, etc.)
13. Design and produce mechanical and plumbing systems design calculations, drawings and scope of works;
14. Review the design of mechanical and plumbing services of projects;
15. Review and approve Submittals of Technical Materials and Shop Drawings submitted by the Contractors or Design Consultants for mechanical and plumbing services of projects
16. Manage testing, commission, training and handover of mechanical and plumbing deliverables to clients.
17. Prepare design briefs and design reports that address specific clients and stakeholder requirements and specifications as and when necessary,
18. Preparation of comprehensive design documentation, specifications and other project documents to meet the required quality and detailing as stipulated by the Project Manager or Infrastructure Advisor,
19. Work closely with other Architects, Engineers, Draftsperson and Quantity Surveyors in the planning of projects, scheduling of tasks and developing an integrated design.
20. Manage mechanical and plumbing engineering-related material archiving
21. Assist in scheduling requested tasks related to mechanical works
22. Perform any other tasks relevant to the Infrastructure, Civil and Engineering Unit when required.
23. Perform other related duties as requested by the Project Manager.
