Graduate Engineer Trainee (Operations) - Women Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work in different functional areas within the operations ecosystem - production, warehousing, maintenance, quality, EHSS, industrial engineering, and logistics
2. Work on shift management in terms of safety, quality, cost & delivery
3. Prepare shift rosters and manage team members in the respective shifts to ensure shift outcomes
4. Develop and improve processes by studying product and manufacturing/operational methods
5. Understand and work with management information systems (MIS) like Qlik/ Looker Studio reports
6. Work on ERPs and other digital tools (warehouse management, Shopfloor management, etc)
7. Work on problem-solving and root cause analysis (RCA) in KPIs
8. Work with the engineering team and other stakeholders to understand how to establish processes and lines
9. Work on projects that improve efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout
10. Work on lean concepts and other improvement projects
11. Prepare process flow diagrams, PFMEA, control plan & process sheets, and SPC study required for PPAP of new product
12. Prepare preliminary costing ratios
13. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and maintain high motivation levels in the workforce
14. Ensure health and safety rules and regulations are adhered to during the shift and all related matters are dealt with using the resources within the company in line with the company s health and safety policy
15. Work closely with peers and other stakeholders to understand how to ensure smooth operations
16. Develop talent on the shop floor and hence core competencies

Please note that this is an in-plant 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) role.
