DevOps Engineer Fresher Job

At Aptagrim, we are looking for a DevOps engineer who will help our team establish DevOps practice. You will work closely with the technical lead to identify and establish DevOps practices in the company.

Key responsibilities:

1. Analyze current technology utilized within the company and develop steps and processes to improve and expand upon them
2. Propose, scope, design, and implement various infrastructure architectures
3. Work on increasing system performance with a focus on high availability and scalability
4. Develop and maintain solutions for operational administration, system/data backup, disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring
5. Work on incidence management and root cause analysis
6. Work on selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
7. Implement and improve monitoring and alerting
8. Build and maintain highly available systems
9. Help us maintain our development infrastructure
10. Support us in improving our development workflows
11. Work on analyzing and resolving technical and application problems

Requirements:

1. Experience with IaaS/PaaS/SaaS development environments like Amazon AWS or Azure
2. Knowledge about version control (Git)
3. Experience in build tools - Maven, CI/CD tools like Jenkins
4. Experience in containers like Docker and/or Kubernetes
5. Experience in web servers like nginx or apache2
6. Experience in configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar
7. Experience in application monitoring tools like Nagios or similar
8. Strong Linux system administration background.
9. Ability to present and communicate the architecture in a visual form.
10. AWS DevOps or Azure DevOps certification would be an advantage
