1. Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; co-ordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies
2. Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support; answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions; responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
3. Collaborating with team head on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short and long-term business development plans
4. Developing a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
5. Researching to identify new markets and customer needs
6. Arranging business meetings with prospective clients
7. Promoting the company s products/services addressing or predicting clients objectives
8. Keeping records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
9. Providing trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
10. Building long-term relationships with new and existing customers
11. Developing entry-level staff into valuable salespeople
12. Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events, and when it comes to the challenge of actually selling, preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays 13. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company s products
14. Developing quotes and proposals
15. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
