Financial Data Analyst Fresher Job

The ideal candidate should love numbers, be smooth with Excel, be well-versed, and be deeply interested in financial analysis of listed companies in stock markets. Understanding macroeconomic trends is a plus point. We are looking for candidates who are very focused, detail-oriented, self-motivated and ready to work in a high-growth challenging environment. This is for the core team analyst role of the company, it comes with all responsibilities and perks of working in the core team.

Key responsibilities:

1. Analyze current and past financial data of listed companies, news, and updates about those companies
2. Research through 200-300 pages of PDFs every single day, and derive conclusions from the information
3. Interpret the data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their influence on company financials
4. Comprehend and write the findings into short concise news articles (in less than 50 words)
5. Communicate clear insights suggesting the quantitative impact of the news on the stock price of the company

Requirements:

1. A bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, or economics
2. 1+ years of experience in financial analysis
3. Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with Python
4. Highly skilled in data analysis, excel, and data visualization
5. Strong appetite to learn fast and take responsibility in a startup environment
6. Immense love for numbers and data
