Architect Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Act as the key point of contact for client queries, responses, weekly updates, meeting scheduling, and documentation
2. Lead project teams for approximately 10-15 small to medium-sized projects, contributing to design concept, creating presentation narratives, developing work plans, scheduling review meetings, providing updates to the principal architect, conducting quality checks, and upholding management systems
3. Manage project workflows for 10-15 projects, coordinating with consultants, contractors, and vendors, preparing and checking consultant drawings, issuing drawings, ensuring adherence to plans and timelines, and maintaining compliance with folder management protocols
4. Oversee daily production goals for projects, social media, business development, website updates, and other events
5. Perform quality checks on all production work
6. Handle administrative tasks related to managing junior architects' timesheets, leave applications, and reimbursements
7. Mentor and supervise interns and junior staff
8. Review and understand technical documents and building control regulations

Requirements:

1. Present a strong process-oriented design portfolio demonstrating sustainability concepts throughout design and delivery stages
2. Possess at least 2 years of prior work experience in sectors such as commercial, hospitality, residential, or institutional projects
3. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead high-performing teams
4. Have prior experience in design project management
5. Be available for a full-time, in-person position at the office
6. Demonstrate proficiency in software tools like CAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, and Photoshop
7. Possess knowledge of rendering software like V-Ray, D5, or similar, and familiarity with BIM or parametric design is a plus
8. Be available to start immediately
