Accounts Executive Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Verify monthly bank reconciliation statements for all company bank accounts and ensure all missing entries are accounted for in the books.
2. Prepare a full set of financial statements for statutory audit purposes.
3. Implement and maintain accounting systems in compliance with applicable statutory laws and regulations.
4. Review all transactions subject to TDS and ensure compliance with the Income Tax Act, of 1961.
5. Ensure timely payment of TDS liabilities to avoid interest and penalties.
6. File quarterly TDS returns within due dates and issue Form 16A quarterly and Form 16 annually as required.
7. Review all revenue recognition and service tax accounting transactions under the GST Act 2017.
8. Advise on GST applicability for different types of transactions, including reverse charge, forward charge, exports, and GST reversals.
9. Provide updates on amendments and regulatory changes relevant to the industry.
10. Review and verify professional tax and provident fund calculations and ensure timely payments.
11. Ensure statutory compliance by filing PT and PF returns within due dates.
12. The freelancer will be available on-site at the company office as needed to coordinate and guide the accounts team.
13. Availability for communication via email and mobile 24/7 to ensure smooth completion of assigned tasks.
