We are looking for a skilled accountant to join our team at Elixir Engineering Private Limited. If you have experience with Tally, accounting, MS Excel, MS Office, and excellent written and spoken English proficiency, we want to hear from you!
Key responsibilities:
1. Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry, payroll processing, and preparing financial statements
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions
3. Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate
4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
5. Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding financial matters
6. Utilize MS Excel to analyze financial data and create reports
7. Support the finance department with any other ad-hoc tasks as needed
8. Handle end-to-end accounting functions in an organization with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance and managing AR and AP functions
9. Prepare and submit various returns including TDS and GST. PF, ESI, and MLWF among others on a timely basis in an accurate manner
10. Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure the relevant data flows effectively through the system
11. Work closely with various internal departments in the organization to provide financial support and to ensure timely and accurate reporting of monthly & year-end activities
12. Interact and coordinate with internal and external audit teams to ensure the financial statements are accurate and in compliance with all applicable rules
13. Do administrative and ad hoc assignments concerning the accounting and finance department of the organization
