About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Meetings with clients (nonprofit organizations) to gather their feedback on Makerble
2. Working with colleagues to gather their feedback from clients
3. Reviewing product analytics to understand the extent to which users are engaging with Makerble in the way we intend them to
4. Competitor analysis
5. Keeping up with trends within SaaS (software-as-a-service) and related industries
6. Proposing improvements to existing features and new ideas that address clients problems and/or capitalize on gaps in the market and/or address insights from the product analytics data
7. Working out how new features and feature improvements will work within the existing Makerble ecosystem - i.e. understanding the existing functionality in detail and using that knowledge to propose ways of connecting existing features to new features.
8. Briefing developers to create new features and improve existing ones
9. Briefing UI/UX designers to create high-fidelity wireframes for features.
10. Checking that wireframes proposed by UI/UX Designers make sense strategically
11. Prioritising the features that should be worked on over the coming year and discussing the rationale for those decisions with the CEO and CTO
12. Helping your colleagues within Makerble understand clients needs and requirements

Other requirements

1. Ability to understand clients’ needs and propose efficient solutions, leveraging existing platform features whenever possible.

2. Eagerness to explore and propose new features that complement existing functionalities within Makerble®.

3. Capability to conceptualize data flow and optimize database connections to support proposed ideas.

4. Proficiency in simplifying complex requirements into intuitive user journeys, demonstrated through low-fidelity wireframes.

5. Skill in communicating ideas effectively through diagrams, briefs, and explanatory materials.

6. Commitment to seeking and incorporating feedback from users and colleagues.

7. Willingness to adeptly utilize daily software tools such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Trello, and Google Drive.

Desired:

1. Bachelors degree in relevant fields like UX Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines.

2. Demonstrated ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving in technical or innovation-driven roles.

3. Previous experience in project management.
