About the internship
As a Jr. Website Developer at Quantastic Marketing, you will play a crucial role in the creation and maintenance of websites for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level developer to gain valuable experience and grow their skills within a supportive and creative environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Website Development: Collaborate with the development team to create and maintain websites.
2. Coding and Programming: Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.
3. Content Management: Update and manage website content, including text, images, and multimedia elements, using CMS.
4. Responsive Design: Ensure websites are responsive and optimized for various devices.
5. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of websites to identify and fix issues.
6. Problem-Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
7. Performance Optimization: Implement best practices for website speed, SEO, and overall performance to enhance user experience and search engine rankings.
8. Security: Implement security measures to protect websites.
9. Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with industry trends.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles.
3. Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Shopify, etc.).
4. Basic understanding of web development tools and frameworks.
5. A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
6. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
