About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identifying target companies and positions that align with client experience, skill resumes, and the current labor market
2. Optimizing your LinkedIn profile of clients to attract recruiters. Updating client resume to increase client application-to-interview ratio
3. Crafting client cover letter to articulate what sets you apart from other applicants
4. Improving client talking points to make a great first impression during interviews
5. Improving client confidence and salary negotiation skills so client receive the largest compensation package

Other requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources

Minimum 5 months of relevant internship experience in human resources

Additional training/certification in Payroll Management – may be advantageous

Labor Relations certification – may be advantageous

Experience as a Skills Development Facilitator – may be advantageous

Able to engage in meaningful negotiation and resolution

Knowledge of employment legislation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Protecting the interests of all employees

Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
