Product Design Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Research and Concept Development: Conducting research on market trends, user needs, and competitor products. Generating ideas and conceptualizing designs based on research findings.
2. Sketching and Ideation: Translating conceptual ideas into rough sketches and renderings. Exploring various design possibilities through brainstorming sessions and sketching exercises.
3. CAD Modeling: Using computer-aided design (CAD) software like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Rhino to create 3D models of product concepts. Refining and iterating designs based on feedback and technical constraints.
4. Prototyping and Testing: Collaborating with engineers and prototype specialists to create physical prototypes of design concepts. Participating in prototype testing sessions to evaluate functionality, ergonomics, and user experience.
5. Design Presentation: Preparing design presentations and visual materials to communicate ideas effectively to stakeholders. Creating renderings, mood boards, and presentation boards to illustrate design concepts and key features.
6. Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, marketers, and project managers, to ensure that design concepts align with project goals and technical requirements.
7. Documentation: Maintaining organized documentation of design iterations, feedback, and decisions. Keeping design files and project documentation up-to-date and easily accessible for team members.
