About the internship

We are looking for street-smart B2C Sales Interns who is capable of engaging in meaningful, result-oriented conversations with prospective students. In this role, you will connect with candidates who have cleared our entrance exams, counsel them on our course offerings, and explain the value of the program in a clear and credible manner. You will be expected to possess strong negotiation skills and deliver key messages without being overly sales-oriented.

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Engage with prospective students who have passed the entrance exams to provide detailed course counselling and support.
2. Take ownership in creating processes from the ground up, as you'll be part of AlmaBetter's new venture, shaping everything from scratch and playing a key role in its foundation!
3. Explain the course proposition and its benefits, highlighting partnerships with top recruiting companies.
4. Drive meaningful conversations with candidates to understand their career goals and match them with our offerings.
5. Negotiate and address concerns with potential students in a professional, straightforward manner, ensuring they make informed decisions.
6. Maintain accurate records of all communications, follow-ups, and conversions in our CRM system.
7. Collaborate with the broader team to improve strategies based on feedback and learning.

Other requirements

1. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with the ability to hold meaningful conversations.

2. Graduate with a valid degree.

3. Street-smart attitude with strong negotiation skills and a natural ability to build credibility with candidates.

4. Ability to work independently and take initiative, demonstrating ownership in tasks.

5. Highly motivated to learn and grow in a startup environment.

6. Prior experience in sales, counseling, or customer-facing roles is a plus.
