About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assisting in designing wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web and mobile applications that enhance user experience
2. Collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, product managers, and other designers to implement new features and ensure a cohesive user experience
3. Conducting user research to understand customer needs, behaviors, and pain points
4. Supporting usability testing and gathering feedback to improve designs and interactions
5. Creating user flows, journey maps, and other visual documents to represent the structure and functionality of user interfaces
6. Ensuring designs are optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces, including mobile, tablet, and desktop
7. Staying updated on the latest trends in UI/UX design and contributing fresh ideas to improve our products
8. Working with design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar to craft compelling visual designs
9. Participating in design critiques and contributing constructive feedback to the design process

Other requirements

1. Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to understand how designs are implemented in code

2. Experience with design systems and component libraries

3. Previous experience or internships in UI/UX design

4. A curiosity for learning new tools and methodologies in design

5. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field

6. Basic knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar

7. Familiarity with design principles such as typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy

8. Understanding of responsive design and the ability to create designs adaptable to different screen sizes

9. A strong portfolio showcasing design work, including wireframes, prototypes, or interactive projects (academic or personal)

10. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
