About the work from home job/internship
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop and design our website to meet branding and e-commerce standards.
2. Maintain the website, ensuring it is bug-free, and implement new features as required.
3. Work on improving the website's loading time by optimizing images, code, and integrating necessary speed-enhancing plugins.
4. Customize the Shopify theme using the editor to align with brand guidelines, including color schemes, typography, and layout adjustments.
5. Integrate necessary Shopify apps (e.g., email pop-ups, social proof, product bundles) and test them to ensure compatibility and proper functionality.
6. Optimize website content for search engines by adding meta tags, SEO-friendly product descriptions, and alt text for images.
7. Set up a blog on the website and contribute relevant posts to attract organic traffic.
8. Regularly update product listings, manage inventory, and ensure the website accurately reflects stock availability (later part of the project).
9. Implement features like product reviews, live chat support, and a wishlist option to improve customer interaction and experience.
10. Conduct a review of competitor websites to suggest design or functional improvements for your store, focusing on the latest trends in e-commerce.
11. Provide support in website-related tasks such as troubleshooting website issues, implementing new features as needed, and providing regular website performance reports.
