About the work from home job/internship
As a cold calling intern, you will play a crucial role in reaching out to colleges across India, explaining the benefits of College Compass, and onboarding them to our platform. This role is perfect for individuals with strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and an interest in sales and business development.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Initiate outbound calls to colleges, introducing College Compass and its features
2. Engage with decision-makers (e.g., college coordinators, faculty heads, and student groups) to explain how our platform benefits their institution
3. Address objections professionally and focus on onboarding colleges to the platform
4. Schedule and conduct follow-ups with prospective colleges
5. Work closely with the partnership development team to ensure smooth transitions post-call
6. Gather feedback from colleges and share insights with the team for continuous improvement
7. Maintain accurate records of all calls, conversations, and onboarding progress
8. Track daily activities, including the number of calls made, outcomes, and challenges faced
