Cyber Security Work From Home Internship

As an intern specializing in penetration testing, you will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in various applications, ensuring the security and robustness of the systems. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background in security testing and vulnerability analysis. Key responsibilities include:

Penetration Testing: Perform security assessments on web applications, mobile apps (Android/iOS), and APIs to identify vulnerabilities such as injection attacks, authentication issues, data leakage, and misconfigurations.

WebAssembly (WASM) Testing: Analyze WebAssembly code to identify potential security loopholes, such as buffer overflows or memory corruption, and recommend remediation steps.

Android Native Library Auditing: Inspect Android native libraries and binaries to detect security issues. Familiarity with analyzing .so files and reverse engineering mobile apps for security weaknesses is crucial.

Tool Usage:

Frida: Use Frida to hook into Android apps and analyze their runtime behavior for security flaws.

HTTPToolkit: Capture and analyze HTTP/HTTPS traffic to identify possible data leaks or improper session management.

BurpSuite: Conduct comprehensive security tests, including manual and automated scans, on web applications using BurpSuite.

Wireshark: Capture network traffic and analyze packet-level details to identify potential security issues.

Research & Learning: Stay updated on the latest security vulnerabilities, especially in mobile app ecosystems and web technologies like WebAssembly.

This role will require hands-on knowledge of penetration testing methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to think like an attacker to expose security flaws.
