About the internship
We are looking for a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating compelling video content. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director's vision and is suitable for broadcasting.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Editing raw footage into polished video content, including adding effects, transitions, and music.
2. Collaborating with the production team to understand project scope and objectives.
3. Ensuring logical sequencing and smooth running of video content.
4. Continuously discovering and implementing new editing techniques and industry best practices to maximize efficiency.
5. Reviewing shooting scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scenes' value and contribution to continuity.
6. Trimming footage segments and putting together the sequence of the film.
7. Inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects.
8. Creating rough and final cuts.
9. Continuously researching and learning about the latest video editing technologies and trends.

Who can apply
Only those candidates can apply who:

1. Demonstrated video editing ability with a strong portfolio.
2. Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation, and continuity.
3. Familiarity with special effects, 3D, and composing.
4. Creative mind and storytelling skills.
5. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
6. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
7. A degree in film studies, cinematography, or a related field is a plus.
