About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making
2. Develop financial models and forecasts to assess financial performance and project future trends
3. Research and identify potential funding sources, including grants, investors, and donors
4. Develop funding strategies and proposals to secure financing for projects and initiatives
5. Design and maintain revenue models using Excel or other tools to forecast revenue streams and track performance
6. Analyze revenue drivers and trends to inform business decisions and resource allocation
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop revenue projections and targets
8. Prepare presentations, reports, and financial documents for internal and external stakeholders
9. Communicate financial insights and recommendations to senior management and other relevant parties
10. Present financial information in a clear and concise manner using PowerPoint or similar tools

Other requirements

1. A bachelors degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (a masters degree is preferred).

2. Proven experience in financial analysis, funding, or fundraising roles.

4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.

5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

6. Knowledge of fundraising strategies, techniques, and best practices.
