About the Internship: We are seeking passionate and highly motivated C++/Python developer interns to join our team. You will work alongside experienced developers and quantitative analysts to build and maintain critical infrastructure for our HFT platform. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the exciting world of HFT and contribute to real-world trading systems.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Develop and maintain high-performance C++ and/or Python code for order execution, market data processing, and risk management systems
2. Collaborate with quantitative analysts to understand trading algorithms and translate them into efficient code
3. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
4. Learn and apply best practices for performance optimization in low-latency environments
5. Contribute to code reviews and documentation

1. Strong understanding of C++ or Python programming fundamentals (familiarity with both is a plus).
2. Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts.
3. Solid knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
4. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
5. Familiarity with Linux and Unix operating systems.
6. A passion for learning and a strong work ethic.
7. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
8. Experience with financial markets and/or quantitative analysis (e.g., statistics, calculus).
9. Knowledge of multi-threading or concurrency concepts.
10. Experience with performance profiling tools.
Stipend structure: This is a performance-based internship. In addition to the minimum-assured stipend, you will also be paid a performance-linked incentive (₹ 15000 per backend infrastructure).
