As a QA intern, you will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to help maintain the company's high standards of product quality. Your primary focus will be testing software, identifying issues, and ensuring that the final product is error-free.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Assist the QA team in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
2. Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure product functionality, performance, and reliability.
3. Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug-tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or others.
4. Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to ensure that defects are fixed and quality is maintained.
5. Participate in daily stand-up meetings and sprint planning sessions as part of the agile process.
6. Learn and contribute to the automation testing framework where applicable.
7. Perform regression testing after bugs are fixed and new features are added.
8. Ensure that the product meets usability and performance standards before each release.
Requirements:
1. Educational Qualification: Currently pursuing or completing a degree in computer science, information technology, or related fields.
2. Technical Skills:
3. Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
4. Familiarity with QA tools like Selenium, JIRA, or similar.
5. Basic knowledge of any programming language (Java, Python, or JavaScript preferred).
6. Familiarity with automation frameworks is a plus.
