Marpu Foundation is a youth-run non-governmental organization (NGO) backed by presidential awardees of India and UN awardees working towards making the youth become global citizens. Our mission is for young minds to target diverse issues in the furtherance of sustainability and for the amelioration of impacting youth activities.
As an on-field social intern at Marpu Foundation, you'll embark on a thrilling journey to make a positive impact on society! Join our dynamic team and contribute to our mission of empowering underprivileged communities.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Conducting on-field research: Immerse yourself in the community, gathering valuable insights to help us tailor our social initiatives effectively.
2. Assisting in project implementation: Collaborate with our team to execute impactful projects that address the specific needs of the communities we serve.
3. Organizing community events: Take charge of planning and coordinating engaging events that bring the community together and foster social inclusion.
4. Conducting surveys and interviews: Interview community members to understand their challenges, and aspirations, and gather feedback on our ongoing projects.
5. Managing social media presence: Help amplify our social impact by creating compelling content and managing our social media platforms.
6. Collaborating with partners: Work closely with our network of partners to ensure seamless coordination and maximize resources for greater impact.
7. Supporting administrative tasks: Assist in maintaining project documentation, preparing reports, and providing necessary support to the team.
