Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include working on application backend development and java development.
Required:
1. Proficiency in Java, with a good understanding of its ecosystems
2. Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) patterns and concepts
3. Familiarity with different design and architectural patterns
4. Skill for writing reusable Java libraries
5. Know-how of Java concurrency patterns
6. Basic understanding of the concepts of MVC (Model-View-Controller) pattern, JDBC (Java Database Connectivity), and RESTful web services
7. Experience in working with popular web application frameworks like Play and Spark
8. Relevant Knowledge of Java GUI frameworks like Swing, SWT, AWT according to project requirements
9. Ability to write clean, readable Java code
10. Basic knowhow of class loading mechanism in Java
11. Experience in handling external and embedded databases
12. Understanding basic design principles behind a scalable application
