Horticulturist Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identifying plants, flowers, and trees in the surrounding area
2. Understanding various plant terminologies, names, and categories
3. Managing weed, pest, and disease control programs to ensure plant health
4. Utilizing managerial skills to effectively use equipment, facilities, and materials for tasks and budgeting for the work
5. Demonstrating problem-solving aptitude to address plant-related issues
6. Conducting quality control analysis, including tests and inspections, to ensure standards are met
7. Carrying out tree survey fieldwork
8. Handling and managing tree preservation and removal proposals in line with statutory requirements
9. Inspecting soft landscape works during construction, including nursery visits
10. Conducting tree risk assessments
