Graphic Design Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Designing creative web page UI, brochures, logos, signs, books, magazine covers, annual reports, advertisements, motion graphic video ads, and other communication materials
2. Creating visual aspects of marketing materials, websites, and other media, including infographics
3. Working on combining disparate elements of a design created by another professional, such as the icons, photographs, and other components necessary for a website design
4. Creating these materials by hand or by using technology, including computer software programs. (Adobe's Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, and more is the standard in the industry, and we expect the designer to be proficient with these programs)
5. Meeting clients to gain an understanding of what they want their proposed communications to look like. Creating or incorporating illustrations, pictures, and designs to reflect the desired theme and tone of the communications
6. Selecting the type size and style to enhance the readability of text and image
7. Producing drafts for review by clients and making revisions based on the feedback received
8. Reviewing final productions for errors and ensuring that final prints reflect client specifications
