About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Assist the accounts team in overseeing and managing the day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations
2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using industry-standard accounting software
3. Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including Income Tax and Goods and Services Tax (GST), and stay abreast of changes in tax laws
4. Facilitate internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with audit requirements
5. Monitor cash flow, prepare cash flow forecasts, and implement strategies to optimize cash management

Other requirements

1. A bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, finance, or a related field will be preferred.

2. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws (IT, GST, TDS, etc.), along with proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally).

3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
