Fashion Design And Merchandising Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

a. Design Support:
1. Developing sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for upcoming collections.
2. Help with trend research and mood board creation to inform design direction.

b. Material & Fabric Research:
1. Selecting fabrics and materials, including sourcing and organizing samples.
Sample and Prototype Development:
2. Create prototypes and samples.
3. Provide input on fitting sessions and help make adjustments to designs based on feedback.

c. Collaboration:
1. Work closely with various teams, including production, merchandising, and marketing, to ensure a cohesive brand vision.
2. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors.

d. Administrative Tasks:
1. Maintain design archives, fabric libraries, and other resources.
2. Support with general office duties and project management tasks as needed.
