About the internship

Are you passionate about design thinking and service design?
Do you think the benefits of fair design exclude vulnerable communities?
Do you think we should make the benefits of service design more accessible to vulnerable communities and the grassroots NGOs that serve them?

If yes to all of the above, then this role might be a great fit for you!!!!

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Use Design thinking and service design as tools to improve delivery of services; programme design in NGOs is efficient and impactful
2. Work with NGOs and their teams to understand processes, use cases, and barriers and be able to recommend workflows to help them overcome barriers
3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to research, conceive and craft meaningful service designs and prototypes
4. Craft high-quality presentation to communicate their service design idea back to the NGO, present your ideas to peers and make iterative improvements

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 5th May'24 and 9th Jun'24

3. are available for duration of 2 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Other requirements

1. Proven interest, expertise, and some experience in producing service designs; design thinking to solve a range of problems

2. Knowledge of design thinking, service design techniques, and processes

3. Loves building things, is curious, and loves to learn

4. Possess a strong focus on quality and timely delivery

5. Will be required to travel and meet with NGOs and other stakeholders
