The selected intern will learn how to produce product documentation. Mirabilis Design is a Silicon Valley company developing simulators for the design of complex electronics. Products designed with this simulator include network gateways, processors, rockets, satellites, computers, and radars. This program will help the Intern understand the nuances of a company organization, collaborate with engineering and marketing, visualize customer-facing activity, and project management. This is a highly visible position and will have an immediate impact. Salary will also be increased for the candidate with the right experience.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
1. Reviewing the existing content of about 1200 pages
2. Creating a storyboard and dividing the entire content into chapters
3. Designing the flow between chapters
4. Editing the content for formal English grammar
5. Adding, modifying, or suggesting deletion of content to make it precise and reduce the volume
6. Proposing graphics and figures to make the content more readable
7. Creating pop-ups and other interesting illustrations to highlight key concepts

1. Degree in electronics, computer science, computer engineering, or a degree in communication/journalism/creative writing with knowledge of how computers work
2. Must have completed projects on campus related to technical writing or published scientific papers
3. Must have completed at least the third year of the degree program
Mirabilis Design Incorporation is a software company providing simulation solutions for the design of electronics and semiconductor products. Our customers range from AMD and IBM to GoPro and Toyota. VisualSim (our product) is used to create a prototype of a future electronics product and identify system problems.
