Business Development (Sales) Internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Identifying new sales leads
2. Pitching products and/or services
3. Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers to ensure that they are retained
4. Researching organizations and individuals online to identify new leads and potential new markets
5. Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about purchasing
6. Procuring new clients through direct contact, word-of-mouth, and collaboration with the marketing department
7. Attending networking activities to research and connect with prospective clients
8. Reviewing clients' feedback and implementing necessary changes
9. Crafting business proposals and contracts to draw in more revenue from clients.
10. Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in-person
11. Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company's services
12. Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
